Travelled all the way from Birmingham to Edinburgh for the conference at the weekend; well worth the journey! Just wanted to say a quick thanks to all who gave such interesting talks, and all the friendly members who were so willing to exchange experiences.

Hello Vicky and thank you for the post; it was so nice to see so many new faces at a conference and I think it went well - certainly well enough to consider returning in 2014. The plan (as Bill said) is to have a two year programme with one year (2012) going out into the regions and then the next year having a major conference but only one, where we get international names involved and offer a very, very full day - as those of you that attended either of the Cambridge meetings will agree with.

For all those like Vicky who are in the Midlands can I just remind you that we do have a meeting in June in Leicester, which will be slightly more content rich than Edinburgh. Vicky if you would like to come you would be very welcome and I promise you that no more than 10% of what you heard in Scotland will be repeated.

Delighted you enjoyed the day Vicky, it did seem to go well and there was so much socialisation. I feel sure people do find it useful to actually meet others with the same condition, similar experiences and be able to talk one-to-one to someone who actually knows how the condition affects them. Glad you came and hope to see you again.
