Narcolepsy Conference in Leicester
This year Narcolepsy UK has decided to get out and about to meet its members. We are now happy to announce that Narcolepsy UK will be holding a Conference in Leicester on 30th June.
What is the Universal credit? Don’t know your PIP from your DLA? Is Narcolepsy a disability?
All these questions and more will be answered at a breakout session at the Narcolepsy UK Conference in Leicester on Saturday June 30th. Rather than give general advice this master class on benefits will be aimed purely at those with narcolepsy and the answers given along with examples used will relate to people with narcolepsy who may not be getting what they deserve. Find out what is happening in the benefit arena and meet the people who know about the problems of getting ESA.
Did you know that 70% of people who applied for xyrem and had the support of Narcolepsy UK won their case? Want to find out how?
On Saturday June 30th Narcolepsy UK is holding its spring Conference in Leicester; as well as guest speakers this year by popular demand John Cherry will be explaining how the charity has helped people with Individual Funding Requests. What do you need to do to help your Consultant; how can a personal statement sway the process and are your human rights being trampled on if you don’t get xyrem? All this and more will be explained on Saturday June 30th using real life case studies of people who have applied for xyrem and won with the help of Narcolepsy UK. If you have tried before and failed or if you are ready to apply for this first time this could be a very important meeting to attend.
