Do you live in Lincolnshire? Could you help shape the future provision of medical care for neurological conditions like narcolepsy in your area?
We have received the following enquiry from the University of Lincoln:
My name is Tom George and I am a research assistant at the University of Lincoln. I am currently working on a project whereby we have been commissioned by Public Health, Lincolnshire County Council to write a health needs assessment for people living with neurological conditions in Lincolnshire. This work will help shape the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) 2018 strategy for Lincolnshire to hopefully ensure significantly more focus is given to neurology that has historically not been seen.
As part of this health needs assessment we are conducting a literature review of neurological conditions, service provisions, gaps in services in England; Using existing neurology datasets of Lincolnshire to established incidence and prevalence, hospital admissions etc; and stakeholder survey for people living with neurological conditions in Lincolnshire, carers of people living with neurological conditions, Medical/ Allied Health Professionals and Voluntary/ Statutory Sector organisations supporting people living with neurological conditions.
Unfortunately this is a relatively short project Sep 2017 – Feb 2018. Our online surveys have been live since the beginning of December and will shortly be closing on the 29th January 2018. More information in the attached survey link.
I was wondering whether you would be able to help us with our work and kindly share our survey with networks you may have in and around Lincolnshire. We would also very much like to hear the work that you do in supporting people living with neurological conditions in Lincolnshire if you wouldn’t mind sparing 5 – 10 minutes of your time to fill out this survey.
If you are able to help, Tom would greatly appreciate it and you will make a positive contribution to healthcare provision in Lincolnshire.
