We (Narcolepsy UK) have vigorously & repeatedly stressed the importance of these medicines being available and despite direct approaches by Matt (chairperson of our trustees), we are still unable to make re-supply happen any sooner. Teva UK have offered their apologies and appreciate that this doesn’t help from a patient perspective. They have also assured us that they are doing everything they can to prioritise the release and shipment of stock and for the future, have put a flag on their system to ensure that Narcolepsy UK are informed of any supply challenges if they arise.
Narcolepsy UK will ensure that the relevant authorities within the UK are aware of this issue.

We regret to inform you that at present Teva UK is experiencing an out of stock situation on Modafanil 100mg 30 pack (Provigil) and Dexamfetamine Sulphate 5mg 28 pack, due to manufacturing and quality release issues. We expect stock to be readily available again in April 2019.
Teva apologise that the manufacturing issues have caused a delay on the delivery of Modafanil 100mg 30 pack (Provigil) and Dexamfetamine Sulphate 5mg 28 pack as we do fully understand the importance of the products to the patients who use them. The UK pharmaceutical industry is highly regulated and we are committed to ensuring that all products released to market meet the standards expected.
