Raising awareness
Raising awareness is vital to our community. You can help by explaining that –
• It is real
• It is incredibly debilitating
• There is no cure
• Medication merely alleviates some of the symptoms, some of the time. For people with narcolepsy the aim is to ensure that when they mention their disability people know more than to ask, ‘is that where you fall down asleep’ and that they are taken more seriously than
they often are currently.
Meet ups
You can attend one of our meet ups in the following areas of the UK.
Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Colchester, Milton Keynes, and Oxford.
