Pirates of Penzance evening a great success

Blog post

Last Saturday the "Pirates of Penzance" event was a huge success. The swashbuckling pirates encouraged generosity of the audience to raise the rafters, and contributed £500 to Narcolepsy UK to help continue our free services. Our grateful thanks to Imperial Productions for their support.

Virgin Money Giving (VMG) will cease to operate from 30/11/21

Blog post
9 November 2021

We would like to make all our supporters aware that given the significant investment required in the service for it to remain competitive, and without the brand exposure provided by the London Marathon, Virgin Money decided to wind down the Virgin Money Giving (VMG) platform after the 2021 London Marathon in October and it will cease operating on 30 November 2021.

Narcolepsy UK have decided to consolidate their donation & fundraising activity with Give as You Live (GAYL) and we will be updating our internet and social media pages with new reference material for you.

Christmas shopping

Blog post
28 November 2019

So many times this year, I have been asked what we (Narcolepsy UK) do and I have responded with:

We try to do whatever it takes to provide the support that people need, where they need it.

It could be education, employment, home, family, social life or access to benefits, medicine and treatment options. It may be simple or complex, we will still help.

Nominate Narcolepsy UK for 12 Days of Giving

Blog post
23 November 2019

Your nomination really counts. £1,000 could make a real difference to the work we do supporting all people in the UK impacted by narcolepsy (or idiopathic hypersomnia). Your nomination could be the one that helps us win. £1,000 is a significant figure for a charity of our size, and would help us keep our free support helpline active.

Click ‘nominate now’ on the website and enter our details (the charity number for Narcolepsy UK is 1144342). Thanks for your support!
